Restaurant Depot is a tremendous achievement. Every restaurant owner on Long Island goes their on a regular basis. This is a great move to get the brand out. Especially in New York where they don't have chain liquor stores. The product will get into restaurants and demand will grow in New York



Nonsense. Every restaurant owner in NY goes there? Maybe those with credit trouble and/or those who can't afford to stock product or inventory. Those are people who can't get terms with Sysco or a liquor distributor nor delivery. I can just see Bobby Flay, Scott Conant and Guy Savoy meandering down the aisles and then loading up the back of their car with supplies. Really?

And let's not forget they are already in 6 Restaurant Depots in California and have been for close to nine months and they haven't sold jack. Why? They're doing NOTHING to draw the wholesale customer to the store. They are mission specific shoppers. They're not going there to look around. Exactly the opposite of a Costco upsale model.
