Another correction... patent pending protection doesn't last for 20 years. It only lasts while the patent application(s) is pending. Once the application is decided, you either have a patent or you don't.
Further, aside from SLTD's PR stating that it has filed several national applications following completion of the international phase, we have no actual proof yet that SLTD filed any national applications after the int'l phase. So, we have no proof that SLTD has patent pending protection any longer.
If anyone has such proof, I'd be excited to see it. However, I just now double-checked the WIPO international application page, and there is still nothing added for "national phase."
