"I am a share holder and have been for a while and the numbers you are guessing would be very nice if they ever came true. Buyout or not."

How long?...I ask because we seem to rehash the same things over and over here (and I'm just as guilty of that). There's been speculation about a buyout/merger for years now and the astronomical SP that follows...shall I repeat the word speculation?

You never have to apologize for picking my brain, but there are posters here who make me look like a school boy.

In the event of a buy out, you will receive a check in your account. It will show the amount you received and next to it, you will see "In lieu of xxxxx shares."

Of course, it could be a bit more complicated than that. That is where the experts come in like es1, Truth, First Mike, and others.

I do not want to jump the gun here. THIS IS ALL SPECULATION!

However, as I said before, KBLB IS THE BEST COMPANY TO BUY IN THE HISTORY OF THE STOCK MARKET.....

how do buyouts work?

Cash, stock, or a combination

in your opinion would that be what long term stock holder of KBLB would want?

Devil is in the details. I wouldn't want it to happen yet. We are not yet ideally positioned for a buyout. Negotiating hand is weak until production is up, contracts signed, and revenues are booked. Right now the maximum a buyout would bring is something less than $1.

That is just the way it is. It could be a good bit below $1 too. So talk of a buyout is premature, and Banana said as much, but would take it now, if the price was right....as any of us would.

I don't think the form 4 is significant at all. I could always be wrong, but those form 4"s appear regularly. Not sure about the number of shares registered to be sold though. There was talk after the SHM that Kim might use some of his shares to buy or merge with another company, but is that still on the table? Possibly. So I am more likely to think it would be a merger, rather than a buyout. I don't know if the lines we are seeing are easy to read. Waiting is a good idea from my own perspective.

While Bananas numbers are nice eye candy, it will take several years to pull that kind of money, in a buyout. We all know the future looks bright, but other company CEO's would get in hot water..and probably mean cries for his head if that is done on the basis of potential for MS, BR, and the next generation alone. Still too early. I agree that that day is coming.
