In general, I would avoid the analysts like the plague. They tend to have vested interests and have to cover a number of companies.
Modern tools can provide you with quite a bit of information about a company. Sure, you don't get to go to lunch with the execs but I don't know how valuable that really is anymore compared to the info and news you can now get online.
And you can even take it a step further by just dumping fundamental news and going with technicals if that's your bent.
This week is Options Expirations so I consider it just a junk week. Intel is not going to stray far from $20 unless the option buyers have already been taken out. What happens Monday and Tuesday will be more interesting.
I note that GM was able to get over a pretty big hurdle to strike from near $19 to over $22.50 on no news.
