Search through this board for more references and information with regards to IL politics if you're interested. Some are my posts, some better ones are others. You'll find history, policies, tendencies, examples, ties to organized crime, the hyde park neighborhood's political history, what the talk in the local barber shops about the pres is, the selling of public assets to org crime, the woods foundation, annondale challenge, alynski, breaking into board meetings with intimidating black panthers on his side threatening violence, "the born alive infant protection act", etc. look specifically into that last example, what the law was meant to stop, and how the pres singlehandedly prevented it from being passed (on 3 different occasions in fact) and you'll see the word used to describe the man in the previous post is accurate, and can also be applied to many others in power in IL. People outside of IL, even outside his neighborhood, really still have no idea what is actually in his background and what he did before he ran for pres. Examples that would shock most average (say, centrist) people are endless. I mean, even using connections to illegally open up the officially and permanently sealed divorce records of his opponent in his senate race is enough to apply the word. How about how he treated one of his mentors as he ran against her? Look into what he did with those petitions in that race for his first office. I'm not emotional about any of this. These are simply facts.
