they did 20 to 1 to reduce the number of shares. I wondered the same thing. The fewer shares the less supply and hopefully higher prices when more news released

There is something called a market cap and no it couldnt just go there. This isnt a penny stock promo. The math has to work. So now we have a stock around 10 but more important the shares outstanding went from 480 mill to 24 mill and since this is a company that acquires other companies it now has the ability to be more aggressive with their roll up plans. THE down swing looks to be temporary for the deal and if and when new acquisitions come in the stock should get the credit and move higher. Normally thats what you would see.
