I'm not. Surgeons like to keep busy. I don't think he's practicing and his many years experience in MIS, academic background and administration make him very sought after....good for Titan as they prepare to compete with a very big and influential company.
The only ones that should really be worried are John Hargrove and Reiza Rayman, after all what do we really need them for if Dennis is doing all the heavy lifting with Ximedica and the other partners/colleagues. Craig Leon became obsolete, and I guess anyone can if they aren't bringing their A game to the party.
All in all, probably a great post to have a Titan exec in for networking.
On the oher hand: He will have to seriously watch out for real and perceived conflicts-of-interest. I take it for granted that this consulting group must be non-biased.
ISRG could eventually really spin this into a negative.
