Along with this notion and on the topic of Mergers. IMO would be wise to pay attention to a few other players that may or may not have been quickly forgotten.

1) Highpower International (HPJ) importantly take a glance at a few of there most recent 8-k. http://www.utilitydive.com/press-release/20140818-andalay-solar-partners-with-highpower-for-commercializing-viable-energy-sto/

2) SolarCity Corporation (SCTY) I think this is a company that would be most likely as a merger/buyout of our WEST. Solid, known, stable, and most of all has cash. Take a look at there background and tell me you cant at least see it as a possibility. Here is a link to an old article about the two, http://www.smallcapnetwork.com/Small-Cap-Andalay-Solar-WEST-Is-This-Troubled-Solar-Stock-Set-for-a-Turnaround-RSOL-SCTY/s/via/3414/article/view/p/mid/1/id/1596/

3) Read the comment to which this post is responding too.

4) And, we cannot forget about the DCSEU-Funded solar program. Again, with WEST involved. http://www.thestreet.com/story/12780931/1/andalay-solar-systems-being-used-in-dcseu-funded-solar-initiative-led-by-wdc-solar.html

5) Final bit of information is the recently awarded and made publicly known - patent.

I know WEST has been "quiet" in terms of PR. However, I believe if you look at from this angle there is more than enough positive information out there on WEST right now. Granted the Q3 reports will tell an honest story of what's going on. IMO, the facts are out there and have been out there if you know where to look and I do think this is a very unique penny stock with some big time opportunity on the horizon.

Load up while there still on discount. :) Good Luck.
