Many factors come into play when considering whether or not to pursue the full amount in damages..."innocent until proven guilty"... i.e. substantial/convincing evidence, monetary expense & resources...whether or not any of these played a role on the settlement has yet to surface...and may not surface at all due to confidential clauses...however it seems neither party is admitting any faults so time, effort or finance vs. better outcome maybe a factor that could have played a role on the decision...question is...is this good for current shareholders? This case will not compensate shareholders outside the dates of this case, but it does show that shareholders are somewhat achieving some ground on recognition and states "we are not to be ignored"...
