I'm a miner and an environmentalist, but I don't hate you at all goodfree. Glty.

I was not very fond of some of the drunk dredgers I used to witness dumping gasoline and oil in the streams as they filled their engines. I am only speaking of some, not all dredgers.

The California Coast Commission is as powerful and dangerous as the IRS. Thanks to a budget bill passed recently, the CCC now has the authority to ticket and levy fines on regulation violators.

Where it used to be they had to get a court order, now they can just serve you a fine, and if you don't pay, see what injunctions and liens can do to your property.

Just recently in Malibu, a guy helped refresh the red paint on the curb in front of his house, the CCC knocked on his door and gave him a fine for not using approved paint.

I'm with you on the unforgivable shut down of dredging, Goodfree.

And the same goes for the ban on hydraulic mining.
