The Vizio Smart TVs (the P-Series) are in stores now.
Vizio deserves great credit for putting out a cutting-edge set that's capable of decoding 4K HEVC, and they did it in a remarkably short time. By enabling Netflix and Amazon, they're poised to make a real dent in the sales of the so-called top tier of Smart TVs.
While Sony and Samsung are farting around with proprietary solutions, Vizio's popped up with a very compelling solution.
Oh, what's that? Vizio P-Series are in stores now, but Ultraflix isn't on them?
Oh, well. I guess the founder had better things to do, like go to Vegas to show off some video game or something.
The Christmas sales season wasn't that important anyway. There's always next year.
