And why exactly is the petition lame? Seems to me that considerable effort went into filing that patent. Seems to me that owning a patent for upscaling video without any loss in quality would have to be worth quite a bit... especially when no one else can do it. You'd think there would be considerable effort spent on defending such a patent. Just wondering when Dimension filed their response? Anybody know? Or do we have to call the patent office?
