bilboo is kinda right. We have a battery, so don't need to get power from an RF field like the Zwipe card. Hackers already know how to use an RF field to get credit card info. Both the SMME "card" and the Zwipe card are basically turned off and won't respond when in an RF field until a fingerprint is applied, that is where the safety comes in.

I have no idea what you mean about there being a limited number of terminals to do transaction. Most all merchants are having to update their terminals. Virtually all will be updating to include RFID, as well as EMV, in order to capitalize on Apple's iPay.

MC has won the patent fight against SMME, I doubt they care much about us at this point. Poorly written and poorly defended.

Apple pay and zwipe are totally different things. One wants a place in your wallet, the other wants you to toss you wallet away and replace it with your phone. They aren't really competing.

Zwipe is competing with SMME. Hopefully we could approach Visa/Discover/AMEX and get them to be our sugar daddy like Zwipe intelligently did with MC.

Bo the Ass out.

Bilboo

For merchants and retailers, there is no actual difference: same payment terminals. The only difference they will feel is faster and shorter queues. As our card is compatible to both contactless and contact (CHIP) terminals, there is no steep change in behavior, no need for massive consumer re-education, no need for new infrastructure. The end users say that they feel, in general, more secure using a biometric as compared to a PIN code and they also feel it is easier to use than a regular card with a code.
