#144735 RE: stockmarketdouble #144724

Stockmarketdouble, did one of your posts have the listing of some of the companies that were waiting to be approved. I think there were like 71 pending but I wasn’t sure what date that went to and if it included everyone.

I thought it was yours or related to one of your posts.

Anyway, let’s say they have 71 more to add to the twenty or so and round it off at 100 LP’s. Currently Canada says they have approximately 40,000 patients using MMJ. If you divided 40,000 by 100 that gives you about 400 patients per LP.

Now let’s say each of those patients uses 12 pounds a year (which is a lot) that means each LP will sell about 4800 pounds a year. At $2,000 a pound that means each one would have about $9,600,000 in revenue a year. Keep in mind these figures are very generous.

First off, a good chunk of those 40,000 grow their own or buy from a CO-OP. Doubtful that very few of them go through a pound a month. At an ounce a week they would be spending about $900 a month or more. That would be less than 4 pounds a year.

Now let’s cut that 40,000 in half and say that each patient will smoke an ounce a week or about 4 pounds a year. So at 20,000 times 4 that would be 80,000 divided by 100 LP’s or 800 pounds per LP. Which means each LP will have revenue of about $1.6M before costs, taxes, etc.

Billy in the meantime is going to grow 1.3M for over billions a year in revenue. After you take out the 80,000 pounds they actually need for patients that would leave Billy with 1.22M pounds of weed to sell somewhere else.

Sorry to be so wordy but going back to your article, I would agree that HC has plenty of LP’s right now. I believe Tweed alone is licensed to see over 80,000 pounds which would satisfy the current need in Canada and that doesn’t count the other 19 LP’s who are producing/selling,

Bill’s figures are ridiculous and they will never happen. Snake Oil Salesman weren’t this good.
