Again, thanks for that insight. All very interesting stuff.

I would like to see these guys succeed. My issue is their track record doesn't give me a whole lot hope.

It could be that they are just one more small breakthrough from having it all happen. History says that one small breakthrough isn't very small at all.

I was aware of DNA synthesis to order. Some of the gene manipulation stuff has gotten down to the moderately sophisticated hobbyist level. My understanding (pretty limited) of what NNVC is trying to do is that it is more than a few levels above that.
