Yes, I think the most probable outcome for Ebolacide2 is that it joins the ranks of other 'cides -- Flucide, HIVcide, Denguecide, etc. that have been shown to cure laboratory animals but never get to a human trial.

If you need cures for viral diseases it's a great time to be a rat.
