I understand where you're coming from, NSD, but you are way, way, off.
In years past I spoke to the main figure in the investor group many times. He is the opposite of what you are describing. Not that he's indifferent to decency and integrity, but he is not doing this for philanthropic reasons. I can hear him laughing his head off at the very suggestion.
He and his group are very focused on making a great return on their investment. And by the way, Elis, the investor told me a while back that he has not sold one single share of his PPL shares. I can't say for sure if that is still true, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
NSD, you find this impossible to fathom, considering the apparent lack of progress and competence. Unfortunately, I can't give you any information to answer that, because as we all know, communications is the weak point of this company.
But if the only choices are: 1) We've been suckered by a conspiracy of do-gooders who also happen to be manipulative fiends and diabolical liars; or 2) There is more going on behind the scenes than what we know; based on what I know for a fact, the only possible choice is #2.
