I don't put the blame for that kind of black-out on BigCharts...
I sometimes imagine that the data owners intentionally shut down the data flow to suit their own purposes...

Its a conspiracy I tell you!

Data owners - ie S&P, Dow Jones, the exchanges (and the members of the exchanges), all the major specialist companies, market making companies etc. are ALL controlled by a just handful of mega investment bankers** around the world...
