Given your history of ad-hom attacks, I doubt your opinion carries any weight. Not to mention that while failing to argue any alternative point of view, you've also managed to make yourself look rather silly by linking to an article that supports <grin!> MY point of view.

If you bothered to read the article instead of shooting from your "other" mouth, you'd see that as Intel transitions to lower cost chips, and leverages vendors inside China to do the low-cost design effort, the previous contra-revenue is no longer necessary. That's been my position from the very beginning.

And while you have been too lazy to do any kind of effort towards supporting an alternative viewpoint, I have been providing data all along, and will be happy to look up and reference data in support of my views, any time anyone is interested.

Regarding the iPhone 6/Verizon deal - it didn't include tethering which is a downer. They told me that it was their lowest-cost plan and that there were no discounts with it so I'm stuck there. My only other option would be to pay for the phone and go on prepaid but I'm not at that point. I can tether off the iPad Mini for now.

I do think that it's a great deal and spending ten days in a remote area amply demonstrated that.
