They definitely will have an electric meter on the pumping system. The real winner here would be the power company supply energy to SWET while it tries to pump water up the tower.

Exactly. Thank you. One purchases kWh from the grid (via the distributor), not the generating entity. The SWET DoD angle is BS.

It's not like they try to track the electrons as they pass from place to place.
