I don't think so since even on the shareholder's webcast they themselves said "news soon!" regarding many developments. I think it's pretty a broad statement, albeit positive!
As long as any of the PR's he is referring to are not officially "material events" and just forecasted it would not be insider information. Nothing wrong with saying that they plan to have news. But if it is ALREADY news and they are not reporting it, then it would be a problem.
