Re: "Competition is for losers"... I don' see how this article is so revelatory. Aren't all the market players all trying to get an edge over each other and that process is what we call "competition"?

He apparently thinks that an instantaneous market state of "pure competition" IS ITSELF the definition of "competition", and that an instantaneous market state of monopoly is somehow outside the scope of the process of competition.

It's like saying "A tie in a soccer match is for losers. Winners win their games... You should strive to WIN."

I.e. Duh...
