How many people have died in automobile accidents?

How many people have died in airplane crashes?

How many people have died building hydroelectric dams?

Life is risk. We all risk it when we wake up every morning.

How many pellet mills does Carl run? Answer: ZERO.

Did you read up on the differences between FISSION and FUSION?

Josh, Casino is right that fusion is different than fission and the radiation and meltdown scares associated with fission reactors will not apply to fission reactors. If Lockheed Martin develops a practical fusion reactor it will be a game-changer.

Having said that, it is at least 10 years away. The early versions will probably not be used for the situations and applications that GKG will be used. If the reactors become smaller, can be scaled to different needs and become cheaper over time, then they will start to become more and more competitive. Time will tell.
