So those yahoos think Harvard, MD Anderson and UofB make plans and spend money based on "hot air" and less than impressive data?

TWTA, if you went there 3 years ago, you'd read the same posts. If you went there 2 years ago, you'd read the same posts. If you went there last year, you'd read the same posts. My answer to you is simple, don't go there.

It's like the old joke where the guy goes to the doctor and rotates his wrist for the doctor and says it hurts when I do that. The doctor's response said correctly, "so don't do that".

Stay the course.

There is plenty of data out on Brilacidin. I look at the Phase IIb trial as one for dose optimization.

Here's some Phase IIa data from before Cellceutix picked up Brilacidin with the Polymedix assets out of bankruptcy court. http://cellceutix.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/00292_brilacidin_pkpd_ECCMID13_19apr13-2.pdf

Your post reminds me why I haven't read yahoo message boards in years. If anything substantive was ever posted there it would show up here.

Another thing others have mentioned is not to invest more than you are willing to lose since there are no sure bets in biotech.

I increased my position today, but reading the Yahoo finance board makes me nervous. A few are saying CTIX rising on hot air and no data. I think there is still much to be known that could turn bad, but I am putting a lot on faith because this board holds Leo in such high esteem. It is impressive. I hope he continues to deserve such high reverence.

Don't invest anything you can't loose. CTIX is still a speculative play and will be until it inks a deal or is generating revenue (or has concrete results) and even then, things can go amiss. But the probability of success today is significantly greater than it was 12 months ago (and the price reflects that)

Investing (in high risk plays) any money that can affect your day to day life is unwise. This should be money you can loose.

I think there are those on this board with very high risk tolerances and they may hit a home run but they can't complain if they strike out. Most posters on this board are looking for 10x to 100x returns, you don't get those with safe plays.

Not meaning to offend but based on your few posts, CTIX may not be a good place for you to put your money. It sounds like you lack conviction and will be up and night wondering if you made the right call. CTIX is a gamble, pure and simple. In six months it might be $10/share and it will no longer be a gamble or it might be $1.50/share, at which point it will still be a gamble. You need to really get comfortable with your strategy.

I'm expecting big things from CTIX but won't be out on the street if it goes to zero (unless my wife puts me there).

I was pretty sure I recognized that "trash heap" comment. I tried that land of darkness when I first bought CTIX. If I had listened I would have missed out on ~+75% return on CTIX. So glad I found this board. The Poly purchase sealed the deal for me. Polymedix was worth over 200 million at one point and Leo bought it for 5 million. If he is a pulling the wool over our eyes he is one heck of a good scammer. The expected results should tell all.
