Going straight to the source-I emailed Chad Mirkin, founder of Nanosphere, the following:

" Hi Chad,

" Their technology can certainly do this but they would need to obtain an FDA clearance.

Coincidentally, on Oct. 10th, 2014 the FDA approved emergency in vitro PCR testing for Ebola. The same day NSPH started its rally.
