Why would this CEO "give away" his company with "free shares"? All of this "convertible" crap is garbage. It's an extremely short term fix that basically says the company is going nowhere. Worse yet, there are enough crooks out there who might just be selling shares.
You're telling me this guy was so successful that he can't find a couple million dollars in traditional financing? Give me a break.
