OT - Buffett Article Misleading and Misquotes..

As I copied this from RB it does not surprise me at all that it was altered and misquoted to fit the stock in question,, GFCI.. But the remarks while not specific to value mico caps are in line with investing in small banks that have thin markets.. The reason that I posted it was to point out that stocks that rarely trade have a basis for thier pricing closer to reality than most other stocks.. To anyone reading the posting that was has swayed to think that Buffett buys VMC stocks I am guilty as charged and should of realized that if it came off the GFCI board on RB it was either altered not researched as well as you have done..Thanx for the correction... hank

The person that I copied has an additional post that reads in part:

Warren Buffet now has BILLIONS of $$$$ invested through his Berkshire Hathaway holdings. If you had read the link more carefully, you would have noticed his statements saying if one is unfortunate enough to have BILLIONS to invest, one's investment philosophy must change, such that one invests in far more liquid securities -- securities that have been on the market for a few years (yes, 10 years, maybe).

His reference to calculated investment in Pinks was aimed at the early investor, the investor who is just poised to invest $100,000 to $1 million. Buffet has claimed (in my own words) that the biggest bang for a buck can be had by investing in good, small cap securities like Pinks.
