One of the issues with these devices is fan noise, I have a Gigabyte Brix with an i5, I really like using it, I just pop it in my backpack and then set up quickly when I reach my office,I have a monitor, mouse keyboard, and all the cable sitting in my desk. These devices will really be attractive if intel's wireless office imitative gets done well. For such small devices the fan noise can be annoying, I am certain if someone with experience in fan design, heatsinks and airflow did some work on it they could drastically decrease fan noise . Of course Core M needs no fan, but I think it’s still worth working on the fan noise issue for small powerful devices.

Here's the link to their kickstarter page, with videos and pics. It's definitely smaller than a NUC. I think it's great that such young people can be entrepreneurs and innovate in the market. It's a very compelling design.
