If the health information is put in the PHR by a patient, or subscriber, whatever, what if information is wrong, typo, like blood type,? What if a hospital, emergency, etc., uses the information in a PHR to treat a patient and its wrong information? Who is liable?
Lets say a car wreck....really think emergency person is going to use a password etc., and log into your account while at the scene?
Ebola? Come one folks...get real

Agree 100% I was in the Marines for a long time, now I work in the field as an Firefighter EMT. Having access to instant medical back-ground is completely advantageous to my job. Cannot wait for earlier access to medical information concerning patients medical history. Ebola is a wake up call for faster reliable access to medical history and past patient care. Like to know what I am getting into at the scene.
