Sony has never converted films through NTEK.

NTEK is throwing a Hail Mary hoping that SONY keeps using them to convert to 4k.

They might have converted some clips for them, in a failed attempt to prove they can stream high-quality 4K at <10mbps, but since that was never anything but a simple lie that was the end of that.

Sony has plenty of their own studios, and are manufacturers of most of the professional video equipment in the world.
