#3017 RE: Foamulator #3016

"So, is there a consensus on where the latest trials were done?"

Foam,
I am assuming that you are referring to the data on the early detection of breast cancer that was the subject of last Tuesday's press release.

It appears that the testing of the blind blood samples was done in house by BioCurex. Why does that appear to be the case? Because there was no indication of any external independent research group conducting the testing and that would have been important to mention if it had been the case. Also, it is my guess that the data presented in last Tuesday's press release was directly related to the following paragraph that was part of a July 14, 2004 BioCurex press release (see smartinvestor's post #2942):

"BioCurex was also approached by four dominant companies in the industry at the congresses. In the upcoming weeks, BioCurex will be structuring several programs by which these companies will provide us with encoded samples in order to confidentially validate our claims in unbiased "blind" tests. This procedure is a common and necessary step in the process of licensing any new biotechnology."

When I first read the above paragraph, the word "confidentially" lead me to believe that there might have been a confidentially agreement between BioCurex and one or more of the parties. After studying the paragraph more, I now believe that was an incorrect interpretation. Most likely, the word "confidentially" only was meant to refer to the encoded samples. kag
