Rumors swirled that September Groupon was going to settle with BCYP....even if that was originally true...IMHO...it could not possibly happen after the Supreme Court decision which essentially says the patent which is basis upon which BCYP was suing Groupon for infringement IS UNENFORCEABLE...essentially taking a "concept" COUPONS and patenting it on the internet.
Ridiculous...and good decision by the Court...bad decision for BCYP shareholders...
Take your .10 and run if you can. IMHO...There will be no settlement by Groupon... Merriman must be pulling its hair out...since they pumped and took a big stake in BCYP....
Could you please provide links to this information, as I, for one, would like to be apprised of these goings on. Frankly, it is disturbing to me that such shenanigans are occurring. From what I read in the past Andrew Levi has had a very good reputation for business acumen, leadership skills, and honesty. Sure hope I will not be disappointed.
