You have it backwards. ARR plummeted because the div was reduced. Not vice versa.

Now go back and read the 2011 posts here and you'll see that ARR shareholders did not expect the div to fall. Many actually thought payouts would rise. Read their old posts for yourself.

Notice too that almost all the old shareholders are gone, after suffering big losses they never expected.
