#5459 RE: SIKSIKA #5439

NJMARK50,

I thank God for the patience & persistence of you and KPSI. However, it makes me wonder if you guys are not beating a dead horse and further,...

Sometimes I feel we are beating a dead horse. But I think that we need to, because I personally feel so strongly that these issues must not go unchallenged. These are issues of doctrine, the very core of Who God is.

As you quoted several Scripture passages ascertaining to the necessity of taking Scriptire literally, I feel that if any false views proceed to be unchallenged, we pave the way for others to be lead astray. We have people who believe in Soul Sleep, others who misinterpret the meaning of predestinaion and what it means to be God's elect, others who do not believe that the Millennium is the Mellenium but a figurative representation of some sort of time.

These are all doctrinal issues, because they pertain to the character of God. Did God mean what He wrote? If not, then He is a liar, or at least we could in our minds reduce Him to nothing nore than a really good story-teller.
