Your point about CPST usually waiting for the client to speak first is generally true, which is why I found it so puzzling that the first and only thing we heard about the follow-on order from FedEx up until today was from DJ himself. It just seemed to break that rule completely and the fact that nearly two months has passed since with no other word has lately been a concern to me. I was very relieved to finally see confirmation today.
FWIW, I contacted the article's author this morning to mention Capstone and encourage him to look into parallel developments in other applications in the trucking sector. He thanked me and said he'll look into it. I've gotten similar responses from others who have written about Wrightspeed but so far none of them has ever followed through.
