Seattle Slew "TRIPLE CROWN", Sea Biscuit "TRIPLE CROWN", these horses were up for SALE too, well not exactly, Sea Biscuit was'nt wanted in the first place but his jockey convinced the owners that this HORSE had it in HIM and would go the distance to "V", He did "TRIPLE CROWN" 11 horses have been "TRIPLE CROWN" winners and not all of them were stellar by any means. When you have a WINNER, if you own a WINNER, one wants to go the distance, that is if you believe!
