Actually there's a big difference between an animation and simulation. The animation you can get it to do anything, whereas the simulation uses real world variables to determine what an outcome will be.
That being said, the supposed (I say supposed cause I haven't actually seen it myself) energy calculator that SWET developed with a university (can't remember which one) is an actual simulator.
