A lot has changed with some of the competitors due to government partnerships initiated over the past month. But, I won't get into all of that due to lack of time at the moment.

You are correct that the situation in Africa is very bad. Ebola is definitely spreading at an alarming rate. Much of it is cultural. There is deep mistrust of foreign pharmaceutical companies doing tests in Africa. The infrastructure isn't set up properly for basic healthcare, let alone something like ebola.

Basic supportive care goes a long way in taming this disease. That's why it's difficult to say which treatment works until 100 to 200 patients are treated. We don't know how many of the few treated to date were simply helped by state of the art supportive care.

From what I know thus far, TKM-ebola stands the best chance of coming out ahead in the curative arena, but, it's too early to know for sure.
