Didn't they say they reduced Opteron pricing in the latter part of the quarter?
I think they did. Given that this is their "strength" and demand is high, why reduce prices? Their answer, I think, was that they are "nice" to their customers.
Please tell me you're joking! If not that had to be AMD's former stereo salesman who said that. I doubt Meyer could have said that with a straight face.
