Standard Oil was split up in 1911 by the Supreme Court and is no long a legal entity and hence does NOT exist...however, rather than split hairs, I do understand that much of Standard Oil assets were split up into the companies we now know as ExxonMobil, Chevron, British Petroleum (BP) via Amoco, Sunoco, and pretty much a laundry list of oil companies.

Of course, anyone that claims that *ALL* of these successor companies are in the JDZ doesn't understand that Standard Oil does not exist and that the JDA has not approved all of those companies to prospect in the JDZ.
But I agree with you that ERHC is a great investment poised for an incredible potential future of any of the small oil companies in Africa.
Sorry but I fail to see how an historical dissertation about Standard Oil has any connection or significance to , except in some imaginative way, anything with ERHC Energy ??
