the dirt people...really?

Oh you misunderstand. Tim mentioned it for others as well as for himself. He knows that sooner or later, he is going to be a dirt person himself - under 6 ft of dirt.

Unfortunately, he lives under the illusion he achieved everything in life himself, so he can "pass judgment" on everyone else.

Tim, at your advanced age, it may be difficult to change your ways. But here are 3 points for you:

(1) A lot of people supported you in your life so you got to where you are. And you seem to have gotten the right opportunities. No man is "self made", so try not to be arrogant.

(2) You are not taking anything with you. So, whether you sell your stock or not, try to be generous at least in thought.

(3) Right now, you have too much anger and no humanity. However wealthy you are, you are a "poor man" - and I feel sorry for you.

dirt people re-vistited...well I found lots of definitions of 'dirt people' most of which were NOT derogatory, so I have no idea what definition the post was referring to but I withdraw my earlier comment since it was based on faulty assumptions.
