Selling at ask is possible if a flurry of activity comes in, but is not guaranteed.

If there is a "bid" an order to sell must occur up to the number of shares the mm is "showing" only.

You must take into account any orders placed ahead of yours. Which in a "no bid" priced stock WILL BE SIGNIFICANT.
