Look at a 5 year chart of silver and at $17 the metal just retraced the entire exponential move from $17 to $50 that started in August 2010. Talk about dead long-term money for 4 years though there have been great trades in between.
Story with any silver stock is all the price of silver.
I queried a paid newsletter from someone who is highly respected in mine exploration about Kootenay and Silver Bull which I both own and am underwater 40%. Here is his response (bold is my addition):
I know both but do not own them.
I am really unable to give specific advice as I don't know why you bought them, what your expectations were or who actually recommended them. For Silver Bull I would investigate the metallurgy and continuity of higher grades. For Kootenay go thru the past years of news and consider the size.
Anyone what to opine on this? I'm not a geologist.
