people are visiting these places , they are doing business?? people do go there ?? it is not a zoo or park to just visit. they buy products to sell. just a start of something big !!!

Not really. It's not a "shopping" destination. Not like Costco where people wander the aisles and make impulse purchases. Typical customer is a bar owner who send his kid down to the Bronx with a specific list of items to purchase. No discretionary purchases. Go get the stuff on the list, put it the van and get it back to the bar. I'm sure there's plent of customers with bad credit who can't get standard distribution, emergency runs and hand to mouth purchasing because of bad cash flow or financial trouble. And quantities of purchases are generally very small, case of this, case of that...
