"When someone uses the ™ , they really do not have a registered trademark."

You are correct..They really don't have a registered trademark...They have a unregistered trademark until it is approved..

You Said

"Woofie, do you know the difference between ® and ™ ?"

Of course I do.. When a company or person trademarks a mark or service mark, they have to place a TM after their mark as they wait for the trademark to be approved by the public and officially by the US Trademark Commission..When I filed for my Trademarks back in the early 80's and 90's, the waiting period was 9 months..Back then it wasn't computerized and they had monthly periodicals with the new applicants and the drawings of their Trademarks..After the 9 months, if no one disputed the trademark you applied for, then you get approved and then you can start using the Circle R you understand...Bottom line...GCDX trademark has not been registered as a unregistered trademark to become a registered trademark. You do understand that? Correct? Is the like I claimed, if they did it would be up for the public to view before it gets approved..Is it still 9 months to wait for the public to dispute it? re anything you would like to add?
