If you note, all of those buys were shortly before something big was to happen. I like insider buying because they would not be buying unless they saw it as a great bargain. Indicates to me that the news we have not yet received about production appears to be good.
Have met Malik Youyou couple of times. Don't think he is an "oil guy". He buys and sells. Maurel et Prom has till end of this year to commit to the further funding of the original deal. My thinking is Malik already has a deal pending and am Hoping he gets good value for the couple hundred million barrels under his control.
