It's not clear whether it's in Intel's best interests to comp their platform in the Chrome markets. It was one thing for tablets, since most tablet components were optimized for ARM architecture. Chromebooks are more like laptops, and most laptop components should be optimized for x86.

I suspect that, once again, you are yet another person who has no idea what contra-revenue is, other than a negative to P&L.
