There is absolutely zero connection between this case and the Fairholme lawsuit or Perry injunction.

Totally different legal arguments. Carney has only further discredited himself.

He has absolutely no credibility when it come to Fannie and Freddie at this point.

After reading some of his Tweets on the subject I see the real reason why
he won’t debate.

He is in way over his head on the legal issues.

No. The naysayers are trying to incite panic, again, and relying upon ignorance to do so. Dont fall for it.
We already know John Carney has a big "negative bias" on fannie mae, so his opinion on this is more of the same.
Remember, to a hammer "EVERYTHING" is a nail, so John Carney's negative take on this is, as expected, with his negative biased.

Instead, of this being a blow, John Carney is blowing smoke..this is merely a substutition in the DISTRICT court. If you read the decision, it explains how it would be absurd for FHA to sue Fannie mae or vice versa, as these are currently acting as one.

This is nothing new and priced in.

I am trying to follow your post. Could you explain how this hurts the fairholme case?

Obiterdictum, your opinion on the effect of this ruling by Judge Jackson on other FNMA lawsuits would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
