The price swings are normal for a sub penny stock, even with a PR looming around the corner

Take this into consideration:

You have to have someone selling in order for that low bid to be filled.

The PPS, like our close, can have a bid of .002, and an ask of .0025. All that was needed was one seller of 10K shares at .002, and the PPS would have closed at .002 instead of .0025. 10K shares at .002, 20 bucks!

If you're gonna short millions and millions of shares, having ammunition, say a couple 100K to manipulate the stock isn't out of the ordinary, and a lot of people don't work alone. Especially If you can drag a novice day trader down with you to do your dirty work for you.
