Gutaquest and others: As of today there are only TWO DNA vaccines being marketed, a West Nile Virus vaccine for horses put out by Fort Dodge Animal Health, and a DNA vaccine for farm raised salmon put out by Vical. I don't know if CYGX has something cooking with synDNA in the animal market. But I heard it from someone in the DNA therapeutics industry that it was a POSSIBLE lucrative market that CYGX could pursue, and that there were inroads being made with DNA vaccines in animals, such as a "nuetering" vaccine to be given to dogs and cats (instead of surgery) that is being developed and might come on the market in Australia. One advantage with the animal market may be that it is easier to get a product on the market for animals. The FDA probably doesn't give animal drugs the same nano-proctoscopy that they give to human drugs.
I hope it happens. I don't care where they sell synDNA. Just sell it and make us all rich.
